Celebrate 100 years of Sinclair history and enjoy a great day with what looks like great weather!
The Sinclair Centennial Celebration is commemorating 100 years of existence for the Town of Sinclair and the HF Sinclair Refinery! This event takes place on Saturday, August 17th. This celebration begins with a parade starting at 9am and continues all day long with numerous events and activities throughout the day (see attached flyer). The first 2,000 people can get a free lunch courtesy of HF Sinclair Refinery and everyone who registers (free of charge) will have a chance to win one of several giveaways including a side-by-side, a 4-wheeler, drone cameras, a gun, a hunting package, a fishing package, golf package, fitness package, e-bikes, e-scooters, PS5's, XBox and much more.
The kids will get to enjoy the free carnival and petting zoo that includes cats, dogs, llamas, baby goats, dwarf donkeys and pony rides. The adults get to partake in a walking history tour, peruse a quilt show (with over 100 quilts) and a local art show. The Historic Parco Inn will be host to the featured artist, nationally known and Sinclair native, Joel Johnson!
There will be live entertainment including the Little Sun Drum & Dance Group from the Wind River Reservation, a local latino dance club, a magician and four showings of the newly released "History of Sinclair" video. The live music will include Chad Lore -"Wyoming's One-Man Band," Still House Blues Band, Nathan Dean and the Damn Band and headliner, the Brandon Jones Band!
Bring your lawn chair and enjoy this full day of activities, horseshoes & cornhole. There will be plenty food & beverage vendors to provide your favorite eats & drinks.
Note - only registered service animals will be allowed, and no personal coolers are allowed.
